Each candidate layout is scored against orientation, crop distance and effective print DPI. The system prefers a smaller frame over a technically larger but visibly soft print.

- Do I need to design the book myself?
- No. The product is intentionally built around an automatic first draft. Editing is there for corrections, not as homework before you can buy.
- Will my photos be stretched?
- No. Photos keep their native proportions. The engine changes the frame or crops an edge; it never squashes a portrait into a landscape box.
- What happens to low-resolution photos?
- The layout engine automatically prefers smaller print areas for weaker source files. If a photo still cannot print cleanly, the preview tells you before payment.
- Are my originals private?
- Yes. Originals are stored in private storage and accessed through short-lived signed URLs. They are not used to train AI models.
- Can I come back later?
- Yes. You can email yourself a private return link from the preview without creating a full account.
